For the collaboration between Gucci and The North Face, I supported the official launch through the definition of a digital project that follows Gucci's communication direction, oriented towards gamification and interactivity — The idea it was to develop a game dedicated to the collaboration by creating a special section into the Gucci App, which all users can access, playing and having fun.
The game followed the aesthetic of collaboration with The North Face, a symbol of the outdoors and gorpcore.
The concept was to recreate a low poly virtual world away from the urban context within which to set the game based on the theme of survival — Then players will be called upon to face trials, search for objects and / or move around this world to survive.
The gameplay is based on the endless running with the possibility to swipe left/right to move on the screen and up to jump. There will be power-ups and power-downs, respectively to catch or avoid, and physical obstacles along the run, like fallen trees, holes or rocks, to jump over or slide below in order to not get hurt. The points we'll be calculated from the duration of the game plus all the power-ups catched.
